Clark & Sullivan

Pat Schlosser has been named chief operating officer of Clark & Sullivan.  Pat has been with the company since 1986, most recently serving as area manager for the Las Vegas office. In his new role, he will oversee all operations for the Reno, Las Vegas, and Sacramento offices. Pat earned a Bachelor of Science in civil engineering from the University of Wisconsin-Plattville.

 

Gilbane

Gilbane has promoted Chuck Brawley to operations manager and John Yena to regional controller in the firm's Phoenix office. Chuck began his career with Gilbane nearly 21 years ago as a management trainee. Chuck holds both a Bachelors in Civil Engineering from Brown University and an MBA from Babson College.

John began his career with Gilbane 15 years ago as an associate accountant. He holds a Bachelors and Masters degree in Accounting from Johnson and Wales University.

 

The Korte Company

The Korte Company promoted Gary Korte to Vice President of Field Operations where he will oversee the company's field operations and associated personnel. Gary Korte began his career at The Korte Company in 1979 and previously served as the manager of quality assurance.

The firm also hired David Cousley as a project architect. Cousley has spent 15 years in the construction industry as both an architect and project manager. He holds Master's degrees in both business administration and architecture from Washington University in St. Louis, Missouri. David will provide the local presence for the firm's design/build work.

 

RSC Equipment Rental

Phil Hobson was named to the new position of vice president, customer service and process innovation at RSC Equipment Rental. He is a graduate of the University of California - Santa Cruz.

 

Colours, Inc.

Colours, Inc. has promoted Megan Morfeld to the position of assistant designer. Morfeld earned a bachelor of science degree in family consumer science with a concentration in interior design and a minor in business administration from Wayne State College in Wayne, Neb.

Colours, Inc. has also appointed Heather Soto to the position of design assistant. Prior to joining Colours, Inc., Soto served as an interior design intern at the Seattle-based Sechrist Design Co. She holds a degree in Interior Design from Bellevue Community College in Bellevue, Wash.

 

HDR

Brian K. Dela Barre, Ph.D., recently joined  HDR  in the company's Reno location as water resources project manager. He holds a bachelor's degree in civil engineering from the University of Maryland, and master's and doctorate degrees in civil engineering from the University of California, Los Angeles.

Richard M. Duarte has joined HDR's Phoenix office as a senior project manager. Duarte holds a bachelor's degree in education with an emphasis in environmental quality and construction technology from Wayland Baptist University.

 

Summit Builders

Michael Vos has joined  Summit Builders  as Vice President of Marketing. Mr. Vos brings to the position 25 years of overall construction industry related experience, which for the past 15 years has been focused on business development and long-term marketing strategies. Mr. Vos received his Bachelor of Science from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University.
