Developer Starts Work on Mixed Use Project

Plise Development Companies (Plise Companies), recently announced that the firm has broken ground on the $30 million Painted Desert Professional Park. The 137,210-sq.-ft. mixed-use office and retail property is located at I-95 and Ann Road.

The eight-acre master-planned professional office park will feature a five-story Class "A" 127,000-sq.-ft. office building, a three-story parking structure and two retail buildings fronting Ann Road. Office spaces range from 2,500 sq. ft. to 25,000 sq. ft. with retail spaces ranging from 1,000 sq. ft. to 5,400 sq. ft. The project is planned for completion at the beginning 2005.

Other members of the development team include Plise Development & Construction (general contractor), Swisher & Hall Architects (project architects) and Lochsa Engineering (civil engineer).

Contractor to Add Floor at Hospital

Kitchell Contractors, acting as construction manager/general contractor, recently began construction of the fifth floor addition and new parking garage at the MountainView Hospital in Las Vegas, Nevada, for HCA - The Healthcare Company.

The fifth floor addition consists of 25,616 sq. ft. of new construction on the roof of the existing hospital and will accommodate 35 additional patient beds. The new 205,252-sq.-ft. parking garage will provide 589 parking spaces. Both will complete in early 2005. The architect is Richard L. Miller of Nashville.

Ground Breaks on New Professional Park

Commercial Associates, today announced the ground breaking of buildings five, 10 and 11 in the St. Rose Professional Park, near the corner of St. Rose Parkway and Eastern Avenue in Henderson.

Building five, which totals 6,400 sq. ft. and is divisible to 1,000-sq.-ft. suites, will be occupied by Dr. Wilson and Dr. Lee to house a cosmetic dental salon and is scheduled for completion in November 2004. Building 10, at 12,000 sq. ft. and divisible to spaces starting at 1,000 sq. ft., is in escrow with completion scheduled for November 2004. Building 11, totaling 24,000 sq. ft. and divisible to 1,500-sq.-ft. suites, is a speculative structure, scheduled for completion in January 2005. Each structure offers excellent individual building identity and many common tenant amenities and facilities.

Upon completion, St. Rose Professional Park will include 12 buildings, totaling 180,000 sq. ft. on a 14-acre parcel of land. Each building will include double insulated tinted glass, high-speed data communications, individual signage, covered parking availability and an improvement allowance.

St. Rose Professional Park, a development of Park One, LLC, was designed by JMA Architecture Studio and is being constructed by Breslin Builders. Landry & Associates will serve as the property manager.
