ISEC President Retires After 38 Years

Lewis L. Anderson has retired after more than 38 years as president of ISEC, Inc. Anderson founded the company in 1967 under the name of Intermountain School Equipment Company (ISEC), marketing primarily to Colorado and Wyoming. Today, ISEC is a nationally known subcontractor and prime trades contractor providing architectural woodwork, ornamental metals, and laboratory casework to the construction industry. With 1,000 employees nationwide, corporate headquarters is located in Denver, CO with regional offices in the Los Angeles, San Francisco, San Diego, Seattle, Washington D.C., Phoenix, and Milwaukee areas.


Perini Building Company has hired Scott C. Ryan as general counsel and
David P. Crowell as director of training.

Ryan's focus is in construction law and litigation. As a recent associate with
Jenkens & Gilchrist, Ryan represented general contractors, subcontractors
and facility owners. Legal experience includes all areas of construction law.
In addition to receiving a law degree from DePaul University College of Law in 2001, Ryan earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Construction Engineering and a Master of Science degree in Construction Engineering from Arizona State University.

Crowell is responsible for designing and delivering employee training programs to enhance professional knowledge, personal development and job skills. Crowell has a Master of Science degree in Business Policy from Columbia Business School and a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from the University of Toledo.


SmithGroup's Board of Directors has elected Kristy Kevitt to Principal of the firm. Kevitt works in the Phoenix office of SmithGroup and held the position of business development director. She has over 10 years of experience in the architectural/engineering industry and has been with SmithGroup for over five years. She holds a B.S. in Marketing from Kansas State University and has taken leadership positions with both the Society for Marketing Professional Services (SMPS) and the Junior League of Phoenix.


Martin-Harris Construction has announced the appointment of Kara Hughes to recruiter coordinator. Martin-Harris currently has over 350 employees and Hughes
will oversee the majority of hiring for the company. She is the channel for a position
at Martin-Harris. Hughes has a vast background in behavioral studies and strong people skills.


Misael Cabrera has joined the Tempe office of international engineering company AMEC as manager of the environmental unit. Mr. Cabrera brings AMEC and its
clients extensive project management and remediation experience. In recent years,
he has managed CH2M-Hill's energy and environmental systems business group
on Arizona. He has a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the University
of Arizona and is a registered Professional Engineer in the state of Arizona.


JB Henderson Construction has promoted Tracy Lucero to Rio Rancho site manager. Tracy has a strong background in finance and possesses knowledge
of construction gained through applied project management experience in government, institutional, industrial, high-tech and commercial work.

Toby Abeyta has been hired as a Project Manager. Toby has extensive experience supervising construction projects in the micro-electronics industry. He has directed construction activities on multiple projects for mechanical, process pipe, electrical
and architectural crews at semiconductor facilities.

Both employees will be located in the Rio Rancho office.
