Korte Awarded Nevada Cancer Institute Project

The Korte Co. was awarded the Nevada Cancer Institute at University Medical Center. TKC Design P.C. will provide architectural design services for the design-build project, which includes 2,500 sq ft of new construction and will incorporate a linear accelerator and a CT Scan Room. An additional 10,000 sq ft of tenant improvements will be made to existing UMC space and will include upgrades to the Radiation Oncology, Medical Oncology and Chemotherapy Infusion Departments.

The $2.6-million project was funded through a grant from the Lincy Foundation and is expected to be completed in the fall of 2010.
