Using a chilled water system with cooling towers, this 217,842-sq-ft building has improved air quality, promoting productivity for all workers. At full occupancy, the office will employ 1,250 workers. Anticipating LEED gold certification, the site provides showers and changing rooms for bicyclists. The site plan reflects a campus configuration with parking located at the site’s entrance. Consisting of two 55,000-sq-ft floor plates with a shared lobby, the space features recessed windows to provide shade from direct sunlight. The lobby accentuates a dramatic open staircase, with the exterior providing the sense of a significant corporate entry.
