This CMAR project includes a combination of existing plant renovations and new construction, including three new structures: an IFAS basin, an additional secondary sedimentation tank and a digester control/grease receiving building. Major existing plant renovations included a retrofit of four secondary sedimentation tanks and retrofitting two digester covers. The judges were impressed with how the team handled difficult terrain and project conditions.
